Troubleshooting RouterBOARD

The antenna is provided by my ISP. They claimed nothing was wrong with it when they came out to check. So I cannot check the OS or anything like that.

RouterBOARD 411/411R
Mini-PCI EMP-8602

The internet is spotty. Connection is fine sometimes, most of the times there is a struggle to load a page. Been like this for almost a year or more now and it used to work perfectly before.

Discovered a blown capacitor so I replaced all of them, except the large one. Didn’t seem to help. Could the large one be bad? Don’t know how to test it.
Purchased a new antenna box and ufl pigtail. Didn’t seem to help.

Tested the wireless card as http://wiki.mikrotik.com/index.php?title=Manual:Wireless_card_diagnostics&redirect=no suggested. My multimeter beeped at me but didn’t show the numbers on screen as was shown in the sample. My multimeter beeps when touching the black and red ends together. But my only guess left is, it is the wireless card or the ethernet port on the board as these are the last 2 things not replaced yet.

I haven’t a clue how to test the capacitors to see if they are working correctly. Out of my and my multimeter’s league. Anything anyone can help me test on the board would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Show to your isp how bad the connection is and request the correction. Otherwise change the isp…
