Trunk and VLAN's - RB951, Router os 6.4x

Hello,

can someone point me to a simple guide for trunk and VLAN setup for this device and firmware ?

I have tried setting up a trunk between RB951 and RB751, I have tried a couple of guide, setting up VLAN’s, bridges, etc, but it does not seem to work.

I.e. I have tried Example 1

I’ve tried reseting both devices without default configuration, pasted all of the commands in them, connected together the trunk ports, connected device1 vlan200 port to my local network with DHCP server & internet access, connected notebook to device2 vlan200 port - it does not receive DHCP configuration.

It may not be so simple but this thread is considered by most here the ‘de facto’ reference for VLANs on RouterOS.

Once you get the gist of it, it’s actually not that difficult.

nework diagram please, are both acting as routers, where is internet, etc…
