Hello all i am attempting to set up a short range point to point bridge with SXT5 lites. When I attempt to use quickset mode to set 1 SXT5 lite to Bridge CPE mode with US country code and 20/40mhz CE channel width and iwith both attempting to set a static IP AND with just leaving that at defaults when i hit apply at this point winbox appears to error out stating “Unable to create folder 'sessions' the system cannot find the specified path” . At this point I become unable to reconnect to the SXT either by using the MAC address default IP or the IP ive set statically. I am also unable to ping the device at this point. However if i hold the reset button in the SXT to set it to defaults i am able to ping to and connect to the unit. I think what is happening is that you are causing a network loop as soon as you hit apply on the second unit.
Set them up again, when you hit apply just disconnect one of the units from the switch and check if you are able to see both in ip → neighbors
It appears to boot me out sometimes before ive even hit apply. Ive tried setting winbox to run under XP sp3 compatibility mode. Also note the ptp AP side does not boot me out only when I move in PTP cpe mode on the quick set tab do I begin to experience issues.
