Trying to run NordVPN

Hi folks,

I’ve been trying for days now to run NordVPN and Surfshark, but nothing seems to work for me. I am using hap lite RB941-2nD.
I was able to setup Surfshark once but upload speed was 0. After I did a clean reset of router configuration, nothing seems to work.
Everything I try is useless, It connects for a second and disconnects immediately. Sometimes connection is up for about 20 seconds, but that’s about it.
Been trying to setup a vpn remote access to router aswell, but that’s not working either.
Uploaded a screenshot of my log in attachments.
Just a reminder, I’ve been following IKEv2 nordvpn guide from their site and also from this forum (help section).
Anyway thanks in advance, I hope someone can figure it out what is happening.

So you VPN to a third party provider and out their internet?

Why not use WIREGUARD, its much easier and faster ??

I don’t know if NordVpn supports WireGuard. Surfshark does. Is it too difficult to setup?? Haven’t tried that.

I had same issue with surfshark and nordvpn

I got response from mikrotik and it works!

Unfortunately, certificates imported in v7.5 or later has this issue. We are already working on fixing it. For the mean time, you can try downgrading your router to 7.4.1, import the certificate and then upgrade the router again. I apologize for any inconvenience."

I downgraded to 7.4.1 and delete certificate and import it again.

I did exactly what you said and it works now. Thanks a bunch mate :smiley:. Gonna try with surfshark now…
