First of all, i’m a newbie with the mikrotik networking. Isn’t my first post here, but my first issue was way more easy to do than this one (i think).
First of all, I’m having a situation with a two wan working separately, each one with a LAN network.
The LANs are working with this scenario:.
First LAN: working with an 2MB internet connection. The ISP provides an Static IP, a gateway and their own DNS. Every computer have DHCP enabled, and a wifi router works like DHCP server. Range 192.168.1.X\24. There are only two equipments with static IP: a server and a network printer.
Second LAN: working with an 2MB Public IP ADSL internet connection. Now is working with two routers (the modem working like itself) and a wireless router working just like an wireless AP only. Again, all computers get an IP by DHCP, and the modem/router works like the DHCP server. Range 192.168.0.x\24, and again, the server have an static IP
Both LANs can access the server (generic one, windows sharing folder configured). This is the only computer in both network with an static IP. And this computer can be accesed by the ADSL IP public connection. (IP directed)
I have a brand new RB1200. Wasn’t configured yet. The idea is configure it to make this thing happen: combine both LANs, balance both internet connection without loosing my server remote access connection, and all computer in the same LAN, with connection to the server.
