Tx & Rx confusion

I’ve been managing mikrotik’s hotspot, ppp and queues rates for a while and i tend to mistake by swapping tx and rx values.

First, the semantics are not well explained in the docs, so it would be ok to put an example or explain that “tx” does not mean “user upload” but tx from the point of view of MT (as i initially though).

It’d be ok having help tips on winbox for these punctual questions.

I assumed this was standard router notation or such.

I agree it could be better documented.

It would depend on which interface the queue is for. The RX on an external would be the same as the TX on an internal interface. It just takes some getting used to…
