Has anyone observed both the TX and RX signal strength on the R5H decreasing by 10 dB to 15 dB after it has been doing heavy TX for many hours on a hot day?
Edit: Never mind. It was a cable problem.

coudl you give some more details - like how hot, what data rate, what settings?
we tested this card at +60C, it starts to lose speed when going over +50C. you might want to ventilate the box it’s in, or keep it in shade.
Will the loss in speed be seen as lower RX/TX signal strength?
Will it return to normal when the card cools down?
I am not sure how hot it is. It’s up on a tower in a sealed enclosure.
Average outside temperature for yesterday is 28.0C and the card has been pushing 10 Mbps for about 20 hours when signal strength got crappy.
It is set to default power and had a 54/54 link speed to the other side.
Turns out it was some sort of a connecter problem. Disconnecting and reconnecting the LMR400 cable returned everything to normal.
Thanks janisk and normis.
