I notice under wireless tables in winbox that in the tx/rx rate field I get the signalling rate followed by a /4. What does this 4 signify.
My columns look like 54Mbps/4/54Mbps/4.
Thanks in advance.

Are you using 5mhz channels?
I think it means you’re getting 54mbps rate, except its divided by 4 because of channel size, so you’re actually getting 13.5 mbps, but using the same signalling mode that “54 mbps” mode uses.
Yes I am using 5mhz channel spacing.
So 13.5 and half duplex I should test out around 6mbps or so?
my p throughput would roughly match up then. (7000kbps give or take)

Yes, it is correct.
