tyring to achieve Gbps P2P with Mikrotik

Hello,

It’s a journey that I have started and would like to have more members join me!

Target: How to achieve a Gbps RF P2P link on 5GHz (LicenseFREE band) using Mikrotik Routerboards.

Looking for inputs, suggestion, ideas!

Admin… Can we make this post sticky?

I don’t really have any experience with >10m wireless P2P links, but my question would be, what is it that you’re trying to achieve, exactly? Because I guess two Audiences connected in a master-slave configuration using their third radios would technically constitute a Gbps-capable P2P wireless link. The only problem is, if you started increasing the distance between the Audiences, the link wouldn’t stay gigabit for very long.

Why 5GHz, why not 60 ? You can use wireless wire kit to achieve that.

you don’t.

Not every country allows 60GHz as license free. Hence trying to check on the 5Ghz band
