Hello! Using Mikrotik RB2011 + SFP GPON module, works fine.
SFP module has UART console, and it works fine, when connected outside Mikrotik.
Any ideas how to get there from Mikrotik device? Or there is no way to connect to it?
Thanks.

There is no standard when it comes to UART console access to SFP modules. Only SFP network signals are routed to the connector, so any special UART communication is not possible in any of the Mikrotik HW.
In general such access is only used for factory programming or when setting up SFP, not in installed state. Other methods of OOB administration should be used instead when required (like management VLAN with SSH access).
Yes, I know. But at least read-only or logging would be helpful sometimes.
For example, my SFP module do not start network if fiber is not connected. I guess, whether it works or not, can’t even test whether it boot or not.
Proper solution would be management VLAN and SFP that’s sending errors or log entries using syslog traps to your server/router/desktop/whatever. Or SSH in via the management VLAN to SFP to check the status.
Reality is that many PON SFPs use horribly botched firmware made by some Chinese intern that’s barely doing what it’s designed to do, half of the options doesn’t do anything and there is no VLAN support to even start with… This mess is not something Mikrotik should spend time fixing instead of original manufacturers.
If you want such feature, open the SFP, solder in UART wires and connect them to UART to USB converter. That can be plugged in Mikrotik USB port to access the SFP console.
