Perhaps you can use BCP bridging feature: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:BCP_bridging_(PPP_tunnel_bridging)
page is blank?
This can be solved easily if wanted. This page explains the PoPToP pptp server and how they use it for playing multiplayer games over VPN: http://non-standard.net/freebsd/game-vpn/vpnfaq.html
I guess it’s just a matter of will to implement or not that same behavior.
this talks about a different pptp server using bcrelay.
i’m well familiar with what needs to be done, but no one has indicated how bcrelay like ability is configured on mikrotik. i don’t want to run another server and replace the mikrotik
considering the amount of power this router has this should be a simple thing?
I’m just referencing another (open source?) project to show that this is possible and shouldn’t be a big deal to implement, especially on a device as fantastic as mikrotik ![]()
bump?
The link in post #2 has your answer.
Typed on my phone by 1000 monkeys.
i need to do this without mikrotik routers at every single location
