UDP/TCP bandwidth test

based on this page:
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/User_benchmarks

test 1 and test 2, does it mean they took 3 routers and test like that? 1 client, 1 router, 1 server?

i dont really understand what does it mean “against bridge interface”

are they trying to test there the throughput of WAN to LAN and LAN to WAN?
is it the same as taking 2 pc (1 as client in lan side and 1 server on wan side) and 1 router, using IPERF and try to test them?

nvm, i was able to understand and figure it out my self.
and with that i was able to test my x86 setup.
using 2 more pc running from DOK x86 routerOS.

with P4 3.06Ghz HT, 2GB 800Mhz, HP NC360T Dual Port PCI-E x4
TCP test, 1600Mbit (total 3200Mbit, 360k pps) while the CPU was at only 65%.
