Ugly performance with any routerboard(6.25 and later) and 4G Huawei modem 3372S/H.
If 3372 working in modem mode over ppp interface in RouteOS we have 3 Mb/s download speed.
But if i connect modem directly to pc, i have 30 Mb/s.
I have same problems on 912, 750, 411, map2n, crs1225 models.
Everyone who use h3372 modem with mikrotik, have such speed issue.
No one knows how to solve?
Some one from mikrotik team can comment this problem?
Special Requirement parameters, especially the “host name” and the “mac address”, I need to set these parameters manually and I don’t find any place to set them,would you please tell me where to set these parameters: “host name” and “mac address”. I had read the manual,but also can’t find any answers.

ppp emulation mode usually can handle up to 25-30mbps.
Dear uldis, but with huawei 3372s/h we have only 3mbps with routerboard and 15mbps with laptop on ubuntu or windows 7.
run info command on the ppp interface to see what access technology is used.
In all cases modem use 4G, and signal was perfect.
With hilink mode when router see modem like lte interface, everything works well(10-30 mbps), but if modem work over ppp, download speed down to 3 mbps.
Something works wrong in conjunction of h3372 and each routerboard with usb interface in ppp-mode.
there is nothing we could do as in ppp mode we just communicate with the modem firmware.
If you have the modem that supporte lte emulation then use it - you will get higher speed as there is no limitation like in ppp emulation.
But still, he should get way more then 3mbps. More like 20-22 mbps.
