I’m in the process of putting a spec together for site in the UK that is limited to FTTC/VDSL2 - they have two separate lines.
I’ve been lucky enough to focus on FTTP/FTTH implementations recently and I wondered whether anyone had any recommendations on VDSL2 modems?
I saw an earlier posts from people mentioning the Planet VC-231 / Vigor 130, but they were a few years ago..

My best recommendation is use Modem/Router of your ISP but on bridge mode. That’s all.
Regards.
Vigor 130 are still good.
Also worth looking at refurb HG612 from ebay, they just work

Thanks very much for the recommendation.. Unfortunately they have a heavily locked down unit from the supplier, so that isn’t really an option..

That’s brilliant, thanks.. I hadn’t considered the HG612, but it’s a good shout. I’ve previously unlocked one a few years ago to get stats, maybe that’s the best approach..

The Vigor 130 is very good in bridge mode to a Mikrotik router. SNMP on the Vigor 130 also works well.
