UM, MT, 2xWireless, PPPoE can't register ?

Hi all, this is a strange problem I have - tryed to find something like it on forum, but couldn’t :

I had a MT with 1 wireless adapter in it and 1 LAN connected to my router (to Internet). Users were logging via PPPoE succesfully until I added another wireless addapter … If I “put” users in PPP/Secrets - everything is nice and working; if I try to “activate” Radius and UM - they all get “wrong password…” (or simmilar error) ???

p.s. more info: at first, there was one w/less card, two WDS connected APs to it, all in one bridge … and after, there are two w/less cards, both having sepparate networks (like 10.1.0.x and 10.2.0.x) and both having pair of WDS APs in two bridges … that ok ???

anyone ? any clue ? help ? still can’t make it work …

I get “… user username authentication failed (6)” error, and I know that I’m using the right password…

Meanwhile, I use PPP/Secrets (works nice) for my users to log into…

make sure that you use CHAP or PAP authentication methods.

about the problem, email to support@mikrotik.com your support output files from both routers (pppoe server and the UM router) which are made when the authorization fails.

Had your problems started after adding something in your system (like mine, after adding second wireless card :open_mouth: ) ??

p.s. It doesn’t make differance using (or not) pap, chap, mschap … nor changing settings in clients (Windows XP) settings …

I still didn’t finished instalation of my system (don’t have another radius on my Linux server) so I can’t tell if it works with other than UM… :frowning:
