I upgraded ROS 5rc4 and Dude 4beta2 on RB1000.
On reboot, i cannot access anymore on the Dude server.
I tried to contact support but:

Did you try the default user name and password? admin [no password]
Can you use winbox to get into routerOS?
Are you trying to connect to 127.0.0.1?
Change from 127.0.0.1 if you are trying to connect locally to the actual IP address of the dude server.
It does look like the web interface for the DUDE is not working on routerOS-5.0RC4. You should connect to it on port 81 but so far I have had no luck getting into the DUDE via web. I am going to try the stable release to see if the web interface is working on that as soon as I get my 400M backup file downloaded.
Hello Renato,
Thank you very much for your report.
We are aware of the problem with The Dude on PPC RouterBOARDs (RB600/800/1000/1100).
The problem should be fixed in the next Dude version.Regards,
Sergejs
Downgrading to 4beta1 fixed the issue
Environment:
x86 server with RouterOS 5.0rc11 with kvm package installed.
RouterOS KVM guest (same version) with Dude 4.0beta2 (tried also beta1 and beta3).
Guest RAM 512M (450M free), guest disk 256M (166M free).
Dude database ~500 objects (Export file ~11M).
MT Web interface on port 80 disabled both on host and on guest.
Problems:
Dude export fails. Only 1 from ~3-15 attempts is successful. Dude client just disconnects during “downloading file” stage and then reconnects, “Getting sttuff”, etc.
Dude Web interface doesn’t work (it is enabled, port 81). Web server seems to be listening on port until 1st valid request. If I do telnet on port 81 - I can connect, I can send invalid requests (like ‘bla-bla-bla’) and get error responses. However as soon as I send first valid request (like GET / HTTP/1.1) web server disconnects immediately and any attempts to connect to port 81 are rejected until next reboot (web server crash?)
KVM Console for guest seems to disconnect sporadically. Sometimes it can stay connected for a few hours, sometimes disconnects every few seconds. Sometimes it hangs on [Ctrl-A is the prefix key] not reacting to any key-presses.
At the same time master host seems to be fine, and another KVM guest (Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop) doesn’t seems to have any problems.
Any ideas how to solve this?
Update: the same problems wth dude remains with ROS 4.17 and empty dude database (no web, no export).
As at today (5 April 2011) Dude (v4.0Beta2 downgraded to v3.6) still isn’t working on RouterOS v5.0 on x86.
Makes me glad I’m still using v2.9.51 on most of my routers that matter - seems to be nothing outstanding to fix on that version.
