Unable to get IP on Virtual AP

Hello All,

I’m abit new to the Mikrotik Router. I’m having issue creating a Virtual AP. I have create the AP but ip not able to acquire ip on the Virtaul AP wireless but if i connect the Metal 2SHPn to my pc i am able to get ip.

Please help

Make sure that either

  • If you don’t mind both SSIDs being bridged, ensure the VirtualAP interface is added as a port to the same interface (bridge) the DHCP server is running on ( Check IP > DHCP Server ).

  • If you want to keep both SSIDs isolated, you’ll need to setup another DHCP server to be dedicated to the VirtualAP SSID. You can use IP > DCHP [DHCP Setup] button, which will launch a wizard.
