unable to install router os on dell server

Hi Team,

I’m trying for many days to install Mikrotik RouterOS x86 on Dell EMC Power Edge R440.

Using NetInstall I installed routeros-7.13 and server system reboot.

Maybe silly question, but did you try with a USB stick?

Firs you need to format USB pendrive

then afte download rufus

download mikrotik x86 install image https://download.mikrotik.com/routeros/7.13.5/install-image-7.13.5.zip

format HDD or HDDs if running raid mode..

and upack insall-image.zip extra img file and load on RUFUS and bur into USB..

power up the server and press FXX to enter boot menu and select the PENDRIVE DISK.. follow all the steps promt on the screen..

iDRAC makes this really easy as you can mount iso or usb images plus you can remotely reinstall etc. You can get the licenses cheap on ebay. Well worth it.
