Unable to log in to RouterOS: Internal Server Error

Hi everyone,

So something funny is going on with my CRS125 running RouterOS 6.20 - I am not able to SSH (does not prompt for username); Winbox disconnects during the login process; and Webfig hangs on the loading screen for several minutes then drops back to the login page with “ERROR: Internal Server Error”.

I have tried clearing my browser cache, the Winbox cache and connecting from different external IP’s. When I clear the Winbox cache the modules are downloaded again successfully.

My main problem is I am not onsite and cannot reboot the device - which I am pretty confident would resolve the issue.

Has anyone come across this before? Is there anything I can do remotely to resolve?

Everything else seems to be working as usual - I am still able to VPN in and access everything on my internal network. It just appears to be the admin login that is broken.

This appears to have started after I tried to log in to another router via Winbox (running an older version) and then back in to my device.

For future readers: Watchdog rebooted the router (assume during an outage) and now everything is accessible again.
