Unable to open a particular website

Hello friends,

Recently i have joined in one ISP. there i have faced a issue that is unable to open a particular site. i have contacted site admin and they replied there is no blocking from their side.

when i try to open im getting “403 forbidden” i have tried with src-nat to another public IP, but no use.

Please help me..

Sure.
Contact the site admin and specify the IP with problems so that they can check the logs on that webserver.

403 indicates that something is responding (just disallowing you to browse).
Might be URL related (trying to browse a directory?) or there might be rules for authentication.

What is the URL?
What is the IP address that the client gets from resolving the domain?
Who is responding to your request (do you have like a proxy server running)?
Why are you posting this on the MikroTik forum?

yes i have connected with site admin and they simply replying that, they don’t have any blocking. Moreover that site is hosted on AWS and kept publicly accessible.

site which i require to open is “www.apsrtconline.in

URL which i used to gain access is www.apsrtconline.in
Name: www.apsrtconline.in
Addresses: 13.234.206.207
15.207.142.88
No i am not using any proxy
I am posting here because I am using MT.

Can you please give it another try in a private window. Might be cookies/cache related.
Do you have the same behavior if you use another brand router or if you try to access the same website on a different network?

thanks for your reply,

yes i have tried with different network then it is opening absolutely fine. i tried with different new router in same network eventhough same issue.
i have tried with private window and i have tried with clearing cache and cookies. but problem persists.

So it’s not a MikroTik issue.
Fix it with your ISP or webmaster.
I blame the webmaster.

Why did you start another thread?? And more importantly did the ISPs recommendation fix your problem??

hello friends,

i started a ISP with /30 as WAN pool and /29 as LAN pool from MT.
few days everything move absolutely fine. but now a days my customers are complaining like some site are not opening. then i reached to my provider and they suggested src-nat to my /29 LAN pool.
after doing src-nat all issues solved. but i felt this is not permanent solution. Kindly anyone help me here for permanent fix.

You are opening the page, the website is responding with “403”. src-nat works fine.

Just one site doing this, the webpage issue (user error?) or they are blocking your IP (range), showing you 403 instead. Perhaps your ISP if HTTP rather than HTTPS, but this seems least likely.
