unable to ssh in via pppoe interface

Greetings Everyone,

OK I am just having a weird problem that doesn’t seem to make any sense and am wondering if there is anyone else having this problem. If I try to ssh in to my router via any interface besides pppoe it works fine. If I try and ssh in to the same router from outside via the pppoe dsl connection I cannot connect. But from that same host I am able to telnet in without any problems at all. There are no firewall rules to block anything right at the moment, went though all my configs. If anyone else has a few minutes to spare can they also test the same scenario and tell me if it works for you.

My test box is a Soekris net4501, running RouterOS 2.9.38

never mind everyone, found the problem, firewall rules was added to one of the in between routers that I didn’t know about. all is working fine now. sorry for the noise.
