Unable to SSH into router from LAN when internet is down.

Hi all,

I’ve recently observed I’m unable to SSH into my router from the LAN when the router has no internet connection. I’ve upgraded to 6.34.6 but the issue is still present.

Does anyone have any ideas what’s causing this? I don’t have any obvious firewall rules that would be effecting this, the only thing I can think is some kind of DNS issue, or potentially logging as I log to a remove server.

Which address are you SSHing to from LAN?
It should definitely respond to its LAN IP, not necessarily to its WAN IP…

You have no rule that allows SSH traffic only from !your_internet_interface ?
