Unable to update from 6.xx (stable or LT) to 7.2.1

What am I doing wrong? Tried Upgrading from package list, tried uploading the upgrade file.

After device reboots trying to upgrade just to remain on the same version, what does log say about it? Or you didn’t get that far? Explain your trouble in some more details …

  • which device
  • coming from which ROS6 version
  • how did you try to upgrade
    …

Little details like that.

HAP AC2, ROS 6.49.6 (and 6.48.6), system consists of individual packages.
Tried upgrading from Packages and uploading an upgrade image.
Same with 7.2.2

Ok, nice. Uninstalled every package excluding system and security, rebooted, then update worked.

I had a HEX S with a mix of packages, it updated to 7.1.5 without a problem.

In my case, it was enough to uninstall Wireless and PPP packages
HAP ac2 6.49.6 → 7.2.3
so if your remote device could live without them, it is possible to do remote update
