have a lot of devices mipsbe on instalations (11devices): mAP, RB951-2n, SXT G-2HnD, RB2011
all of them still running v.6.40.5
I trying to upgrade to bug fix only 6.42.9 but no chance: even I tried
Check for updates (after downloding and rebooting the system became downloading packages one more time then reboot and so on. So only one way to stop it is cancel downloading before reboot
manually download .npk and reboot. After rebooting upload file disappear but the ROS version still 6.40.5
try to upgrade to nearest version 6.40.6 - nothing
What is it? How to upgrade without Netinstall https://c2n.me/3XNNejh
Export your configuration ( /export file=config in Console ). Save file config.rsc locally (via Files).
Check the router for any malicious scripts and scheduler entries.
Maybe you can update after removing these entries. Check the log for results after reboot. If upgrade is not possible, use netinstall to perform update.
Change your passwords.
Import your configuration from export (paste in console), but only after thoroughly checking for malicious entries.
I am having the same issue, some with newer versions of ROS, wome with older. But all do the same thing, reboot and nothing updates. I have even tried Netinstall on some of them, and it does not even see the device.
