Unable to upgrade RouterOS

I’ve got The Dude running, it’s discovered a bunch of our devices, it can read RouterOS-specific stuff from the devices (e.g. the list of packages installed and their versions). I’ve also got the routeros 6.42.6 mipsbe package available in The Dude’s storage folder, and when I open the upgrade menu for a mipsbe device, 6.42.6 is listed. However, clicking it doesn’t do anything. The devices in question are running 6.39.1, so it should be recognized as an update, but just in case, force upgrade didn’t do anything either.

There’s nothing logged on either the Dude server or the target system under the dude topic, when I try to upgrade RouterOS.

Can someone explain what I’m missing?

Is it a CHR with trial license which has expired?

No; turns out that while I had placed the RouterOS mipsbe package on the Dude server, I had neglected to place the NTP package on there. The target devices had the NTP package, so the update wouldn’t go through.

Once I found the relevant info in the Devices screen it was plain as day, but, it would have been nicer if it was a bit more obvious.

Thanks.
