Hey Everyone, I’m new to MikroTik so please bare with me…
I have a RB493G with wireless and I can’t access websites. I’ve read through the forums and documentation and I just can’t seem to find what I’m missing.
I have ethernet1 for the Internet (dhcp), ethernet 2 is master for 3-4-5, ethernet 6 is master for 7-8-9. I have an Internal bridge set for ports 2, 6, and VAP #1 (not guest). I have created the "src"NAT rule, performing masquerading and set the OUT interface as ethernet1.
I’m receiving my dhcp (internal) addressing correctly and can perform external nslookups on connected pc’s but when I try to access “http://www.msn.com” I’m unable to view the site; it times out.
If there is anything that I failed to disclose please ask, first time posting and first MikroTik configuration,
Thank you in advance,
John
I was able to figure out my problem.
When adding my address to the address list I failed to add the “/24” to the end of my Address. Once added everything was routing properly.
