Unicast UDP Traffic it's been limited by something....

Hi,

Im in the middle of a video survilance project, this is my network layout:

(AP RB433AH with ROS4.2v) -------- 5.8Ghz, 802.11a -----> <-----(STA Ubiquiti NanoStation5)------- (UDP - Camera)

There is a bridge between wlan and eth of the RB433AH, the STA is configured as bridge too. All the network is L2 transparent.

For some reason when I approach arround 6 Mbps UDP traffic everything begin to fail. I can see pixelization in the camera streaming, and pings got a lot of latency. But if I measure the rate of a link with Btest, the result is ·30Mbps UDP traffic.

I test with one camera, two cameras and three cameras, and always happens the same, no matter how many STA and cameras are connected to the AP, while the traffic don’t reach the 6 Mbps. After this limit everything works bad.

Have you got any idea of what could be happening? What MK people has to say about this? Any clue?

Thank you for your time. I will appreciate your concern.

Any Update about this?

Mikrotik people?

I will appreciatte any clue. Thank You
