UnIFI Access Points with Mikrotik Switch

Hi All,

So I have bought the following Mikrotik Switch
https://mikrotik.com/product/CRS326-24G-2SplusRM

and I have also bought 2x of these Wireless Access Points
https://store.ui.com/products/unifi-ap-pro

Now These Access Points does not come equipped with POE Injectors.
Can someone help me on how to connect such Access Points to this Switch Please, because the support representative stated that the switch should be able to power these APs Up but they are not switching on?

Hi

the CRS326-24G-2S has no POE.
so no power over ethernet.
If you need a 24port Switch with POE you should have bought a CRS328-24P-4S+RM

The difference is the P behind the port count.

Hi Thanks for your reply first of all.

Before I bought that switch I’ve contacted Mikrotik via email and they said that it’s possible to power up the UniFI APs using the one I bough so that’s why I bought it in the first place. Is there any way I can hook-up the APs with the switch I’ve bought now please?

yes just buy a POE injector for each AP.
