Unknown traffic in mikrotik's PPPoE interface

HI all,



There is huge bandwidth upload traffic in my mikrotik’s PPPoE interface due to this problem my router is getting hanged and sometimes
it causes browsing problem to all my users ,And this problem is in only in LAN side .


Please suggest me what can be the problem ??

Have you torched the interface? You sure you do not have an open dns relay?

Did you set the firewall correctly? Look in the firewall rules, when you drop all new traffic from ether1 then adjust that to be your PPPoE interface.
When you have an interface list WAN then make the PPPoE interface a member of that.
