I have a CRS125-24G-1S-RM that I intend to replace a hp ProCurve V1910 + pfSense host with.
I went in to work today to test it in service, got it set up, and then the connection to the internet would drop out about every minute. The v1910+pfSense and our Cox business cable has epic performance. I set up the CRS125 with the proper information. What are the beginner steps to set up the CRS125? From my experience with the v1910, I get that at the minimum, a real switch needs to have the route to the internet programmed.
I basically followed the Wiki here. What am I missing?
So, I set up the router on 192.168.2.21 so as not to interfere with other IPs. I’ve gone through 3 or 4 firewalls and routers, so I am pretty confident with setting up edge devices.
I also setup the external route in the CRS125… (attached pic)
