Hi ALL
I have the following setup:
Mikrotik rb2011iL-RM directly connected to the internet
- public IP 1.2.3.4
- local IP 192.168.150.254 on ether9
- DHCP server
- Nat for 192.168.150.0/24 to 0.0.0.0/0
- Accesspoint connected to ether9
I had another MIkrotik 951ui-2hnd setup in bridge mode. I am getting a DHCP IP, can ping about 4 times to the internet or the mikrotik, then connection drops again for 4/5 pings, the is able to ping again. this occurs for about 5 minutes, after that the connection is stable as a rock
I swapped the mikrotik out for a Cisco 3802, exact same problem.
The funny thing is, I can ping the accesspoint just fine, nice stable ping constantly, while cannot ping the Mikrotik default gateway.
What does work is that I can use the winbox client to connect to the mac address of the mikrotik and manage it as normal, so the network connection is there, but it seems to be blocking my connection for some reason.
anybody an idea where I should start looking?
