I upgraded my 7.8 hAP Ax Lite to 7.16 (including upgrading the Routerboard FW) and wished I hadn’t.
This broke Wifi client mode - while 7.8 happily connects Wifi Wave 2 to my (non Mikrotik) Wifi and WAN bridges into it, 7.16 has a highly intermittent ability to connect to the home Wifi, with 9 times out of 10 the Wifi Client interface not even getting to running, although it does sometimes connect to show it’s possible. I tried every permutation possible in 7.16 - station, bridge, station pseudobridge but this made no difference - it managed to connect once in station mode but that was about it. I could not figure out what made the difference between connecting and not connecting - it just seemed v. flaky.
Downgrading back to 7.8 fixed this and it now robustly connects every time.
Is this something others have come across?
