Good day.. Couple of months I’ve purchased a mikrotik hex(configured for hotspot business)
After 3 month of use, I noticed that my router is reset. The only thing that come in my mind causes it is the power interruption(4-7 brownout per day) in my area..what do you think?
Please tell me the posible cause of unwanted reset of mikrotik hex.. Thanks
Yes no IT equipment likes power issues. Do you have it running on a backup power supply??
No I don’t have any backup..
Is there a way to know that haker jam my mikrotik.

As long as you are using a recent version of MT OS, and winbox, and only permit access to the router itself (input chain) for you, then its not a hacker!
As long as you only access router locally and if remotely by VPN.
As long as you setup your own password etc etc.
You have 4-7 brownouts pr. day? If you don’t mind me asking, where do you live and why does the utility company not like electricity?
