I have a windows based snmp server in my network and i have given the public IP to this snmp server and this server is connected to my mirkotik
but the problem is here , When I am making this server live in that case the bandwidth utilisation is being
more than 1000 mbps where my wan speed 400 mbps.And also I blocked the DNS attack ,SSH attack,telnet Attack,
but sometimes the bandwidth is being too high .
Please suggest me if anything possible to do .
You should NEVER have an SNMP server accessible from internet.
Block SNMP in the firewall. When you need to run monitoring over the internet, use a VPN or whitelist the monitoring server address.
