Update license mikrotik + Download OLD RouterOS

Hello,

if we try to update license of mikrotik, are we asked for pay or we can get free of charge? coz my license will be expired. its happend after i try to upgrade routeros.

and where i can download old routerOS like 3.**?

  2. license upgrade is free of charge. anyone can use v5.6
