Update package not properly downloaded and rebooted.

Hi,
I have a remote hex poe. I tried to upgrade from 6.43 to 6.43.1. unfortunately, poor Internet speed, only download around 1MB file then timeout. But the upgrade process didn’t do any check then reboot the box directly.
Then it never back online again.

What can I do next? Seems like a travel to the box a must. What’s the step to get this box back again? In my case, is it just need a power cycle to let it load previous working firmware or have to do a netinstall? Thanks for your reply.

Weird thing happened, the box came back online after 10 min still on 6.43 version.

I’m glad it did.

Next time you might want do the upgrade “by hand”. Download upgrade package (npk files) manually from https://mikrotik.com/download, then transfer those files to remote RB - either using scp or winbox or webfig … and after transfer successfully finishes, reboot the remote RB.
