Update RJ45 Module S+RJ10

Hi,

I got such a module with Revision 2.11

Is it possible to upgrade it to a newer version by software, or is the hardware also differen in the newer versions?

I know that S+RJ10 not have internal firmware to work. Revision (In this case) means hardware version (Not software).
