Upgrade 2.9.6 to 2.9.13 I am Scared!!!

I have 4 PtP links in WDS/bridge mode that I would like to upgrade since some of my tests on a radio configured as a station have shown nice wireless improvements.

Anyone know if the 9.6 to 9.13 will destroy the bridge and require a truck roll?
Or, what is the best way to prepare a WDS/Bridge for upgrade and still be able to access it remotely?

We had the same doubts - but decided after some reading in this board that it should be safe…

Yesterday, we upgraded a number of links in different configurations (plain, bridged, wds, etc) on both RB220/230, RB500 and plain PC.

We are generally pleased with the results - several of our links has improved a lot.

Just do it ! If your bridges are properly configured, you should have no trouble…

Every 2-nd router in our network can’t be upgraded successfully…

We’re renewing versions only when we’re having our stuff near the router…

hey daiceman

Maybe you can help me… did you ever had a problem whit the dhcp client association in station mode ( or in fact any other mode ) ??

Y read that you are using the 2.9.6 version just like me. I have a lot of problems using the mktk as station and, to be honest, im out of ideas…

I made a post in other forum where i explain my problem whit a little more detail… i hope that you can help me…
