Upgrade failing both from 5.24 to 5.26 and from 5.24 to 6.22

Hi there, I am trying to upgrade 2 routers based on ALIX (x86) board and it looks like impossible.

I have done it before, but this time when it is time to reboot the system… it reboots but new packages are not installed.

My current version is 5.24 and my licenses accept upgrading to 6.x.

I tried both with uploading packages through FTP and using the integrated upgrade function with WinBox, but after each reboot nothing change.

Am I missing something?

Can you please point me on the right path to a successful upgraded router?

I finally found the solution to this issue.

During the first upgrade request I made using WinBox an empty file for the routerboard npk was created.

Unless removed that empty file was blocking the upgrade process.

After I removed it the upgrade process finished gracefully.
