Upgrade from rb450g to rb1200 asterisk problem

Hi all,

so this is the situation, i had an asterisk server connected to rb 450g and outbound calls were working perfectly, copied all configs exactly as they were from the rb450g 5.7 and applied to rb1200 5.11.

Now on the rb1200 most of the outbound calls drop at 20ish seconds aproximately.
when i tested the rb450g back it worked perfectly.

Nat in rb1200 is exactly like in the the rb450g
service port for sip [5060,5061] is deactivated since in the rb450g is works without it but still also tested on the rb1200 with it activated with the exact same results, outbound calls still drop on 20ish seconds.

So since the configs are exactly the same and in the rb450g works and the rb1200 dont, i would like to know if there is some issue in rb1200 or if there is any known workaround

thanks for all the suport

Downgrade to 5.7 because there are lots of reports regarding buggy versions above 5.8

Not very constructive I Know but I have RB1200 ver 5.11 with over 900 sip connections behind it with no issues. Simple NAT with masquerading. I found the sip helper in MK is better to be in disabled state for my sip server. You say that outbound calls cut after 20 secs. I assume inbound dont. So basically the UDP voice stream is losing its way after 20 seconds when initiated from the inside. Have a look at the registration info of a client in the asterisk box, especially the ports being used. see what differences there are between the 1200 and the 450 it may give you a clue. What sip devices are you using?
