Hi all!
I would like to upgrade my RouterOS v2.9.50 to v3.30 on RB532A and also RB532 and I’m wondering if after upgrade will be any mismatching in my configuration that I have now. Is there any opportunity to check that? I tried in documentation but without any success.
Please help.
Wait another 3 years and then ask somebody… I really do not remember.
I suggest to write all your config down (export it to a file, manually delete all the default stuff). Get version 5.x and add everything back manually. At least after that others will be able to help.
I just upgraded from 2.9.51 on some of my earlier boards. (rb153 and wrap 1e) be sure to back up your config and move it off the board, and be sure you have a copy of the 2.9.50 as well in case you have to revert back. I believe you can export your config also, which I am told is a good thing to do. Put the newer rOS on. Not sure why you are not going to the latest stable version via 3.30, but to each their own. I am unsure what configs will change as you upgrade, most should stay intact.
