Upgrade HW from RB750 to RB751

I want upgrade hw from RB750 without wifi to RB751 with wireless.
Is ok only backup to file on RB750, and restore from this file on other RB751?

If this not ok, what must do?

If you use v5.21, better use command “/export compact file=name” and then “/import name” This will work better

i want all configuration, ip of router, admin password, interfaces ,…

backup and restore not set wan ip route

sorry but you are not correct. export sets all settings you mentioned, including IP

i have 2 router
750g, working like a charm
and 751g with wifi

i want only to replace router with conf of 750g
and not work

OK, in RB750G type “/export compact file=name”. Then copy the file “name.rsc” to the other router. In the other router type “/import name.rsc” and see what happens. If nothing works, in RB751 type “/export compact” and paste output here.

import return:

failure: pool with such name exists

testing:
before import, i change ip address to 1.3 (original is 1.2)

and then import
and ip adress stay 1.3

manualy change to original 1.2
but nat is not working ?!?!

you can do this:
/system reset run-after-reset="name.rsc"it will clear current config, and then import the one from RB750

reset is reseting router
run-after is not work (none conf from name.rsc)

when manualy import name.rsc (failure again, ip pool exists), routing conf is not visible
