Upgrade License Problem

Hi,

I have a power router 732 that came with a level 4 license that is now hitting the 200 max hotspot users.

I have exported the key and imported it into the accoutn manager. When I try to upgrade - it tells me "This key already have full features! ".

It is only a level 4 license and I now need a level 5. I am happy to pay for a level 5 but cant work out how to do it

Can anyone help

you can’t upgrade license levels, you need to get a brand new l6 key

the only option is to buy completely new license and install it on your current hard drive (stoorage medium used)

i would suggest you to take out storage device and swap it with new one and save this one for another install as you will loose you current key if you overwrite with other license.

500 screaming university students. (can get very ugly)
5000km between me and the router.


Is there any way that I can do it without removing the hard drive?
How can I delete the current license and add a new one?

of course. just enter the current SoftID in the mikrotik.com purchase form and you will get the brand new L6 key. now connect with telnet and paste the key.

after the reboot, key will be active

as far as i know, with Mikrotik’s you will easy and nice to bla . . . . bla . . . bla . . . . :wink:
and yes . . . . . softID is more importan than 5000km distance.

Forked out the dollars for the L6 license. Applied and restarted.
