Upgrade OS v3.0 in Quad Core Xeon

Hi,

I have problem to upgrade RouterOS v3.0 in our quad core xeon processor.
If i tried to upgrade from 3.2 to 3.3 or 3.3 to 3.4, after reboot my router always Hang and in the console monitor was showing “Disabling Interrupt 5” or “Disabling Interrupt 10”. So , i couldn’t login to router using console login because my pc router didn’t response any input from my keyboard.

I try to login several times, and after i can login i see that multi cpu didn’t set to “yes” .

So everytime i upgraded from v3.0 to v3.1/v3.1 to v3.2/v3.2 to v3.3/ v3.3 to v3.4 always “HANG” first and i must activated the multi-cpu. After that, router can run normal.

It’s very difficult to me, if i need to upgrade remotely. :frowning:
All network will be down , all customer didn’t like their network down … so until today i am so afraid to upgrade the routerOS to the new one.

I use Intel Motherboard S5000VSA, Processor Intel E-5310 Quad Core Xeon 1,6 Ghz and 2 GB DDR2 RAM.

Please fix the multicpu detection in routerOS upgrade process.

Any suggestion for my problem ?
