Currently we have 2 X CCR1009’s with approx 1000 PPPoE sessions on bridged VLAN’s , OSPF used for network management and this loaded 50:50 between both CCR’s and both would go up to 50% CPU,
A Packet Sniffer samples when taken from both CCR’s during peak usage hours, on opening with Wireshark had a lot of “[TCP Previous segment not captured]…” which on checking I believe the
CCR’s were unable to capture some of the data packets for analysis ?
We are considering upgrading to a single higher spec device, use the 2 X CCR1009’s as backup, we would welcome any suggestions on this?
