Do i need a new license to upgrade from a (RB153) 2.9.38 to 2.9.44 ?

Nope, you should be good into 3.x. There was a point in the early 2.9 that would require Netinstall for the upgrade, but not now. Look in /system license.

I’ve upgraded the OS to the latest stable version using FTP client. It upgraded successfully, after that I noticed that the file that was uploaded still lists on the FTP client. Do I need to delete the image file?


edit: hmm the file was gone by itself. Maybe the FTP client was the culprit.
