Upgraded from 3.x to 4.16 and lost software key

Sorry for cross posting this but I wanted to make sure one of the MT guys saw this.

I upgraded several 411 CPE’s tonight from 3.x to 4.16 and one of them has lost the software key. This is a unit that is over 30 miles away and I really don’t want to have to do a truck roll for this. Can you please send me a new key for this unit, I have about 22 hrs to get it installed. I sent an email to support with the software ID and attached the spout from the unit also.

for “mt guys to see this” you need to write to support. forum users can’t help you with keys.

I also emailed support as I indicated and they did get me a new key.

I posted here also so others know there is still evidently an issue with lost keys during upgrades and to make sure they check the router after an upgrade.
