Had a failure over the weekend at an AP, so I took an RB-411 from one my CPE’s and purchased a L4 license for it and dropped the license in successfully.
I use a WDS configuration as provided by Chris Sutherland at http://www.docstoc.com/docs/2436072/How-Do-I-Set-Up-WDS-Using-MikroTik
Anyhow after installing the board into an enclosure and hanging it on the tower I am able to access the unit VIA WinBox and run a scan and see only the two links directly on this tower.
Likewise when I access “Wireless Tables” → “WLAN1” → “Status”
The Tx CCQ has no registered value what-so-ever.
I have swapped pig tails, mini pci cards, so on…
Client units served by this tower never even begin to appear in the Wireless Registry, is there anything else I would need to do other than the level 4 license to run this card as ap bridge?
The LMR-400 are brand new and there is an inline coaxial surge arrestor, but people real close would at least connect prior to installing this RB-411 however.
