Upgraded to 4.2 but winbox does not login?

Hi Guys

So I upgraded from 3.28 to 4.2,did the software upgrade and firmware upgrade.

However, winbox cannot login!! It starts downloading plugins but gets slower and slower and never finishes..

any work arounds?

seems to be an MTU issue, was going over a pptp tunnel which did not work…removed tunnel and it works..

why is that?
