I dutifully updated my MIPS-based box to the latest update…6.31. After the update, nothing on wireless works anymore. The devices connect and then the log complains about unicast key timeouts, and nothing works. Wired is fine however.
How do I fix this situation?
Replying to myself here but…I fixed the “issue” but I’m perplexed why it happened at all. NOTHING would connect to the wlan. I have a virtual wlan for old devices that uses WPA only and I could connect to that one. Connecting to the primary real WLAN would fail and say the password was not right.
So I changed the password to something else. It worked. Changed it back to what it was originally. It worked.
Did the upgrade corrupt something? This is the first and only time I’ve ever had an issue with RouterOS upgrades.
